All Souls’ Day 2020
As All Souls’ Day approaches (November 2nd), many of us reflect and pray for those we have lost. Losing a loved one is always painful, but experiencing grief during the COVID-19 pandemic is especially difficult. If you lost someone this year, you may not have been able to be with him/her when they died. Participation in wakes and funerals has been limited and many have been unable to mourn in-person with family and friends. This All Souls’ Day, please consider honoring your loved one with a donation to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet.
Your All Souls’ Day gift to Catholic Charities will help individuals and families who are living in poverty build toward a life of self-sufficiency. Your gift will help the homeless, the hungry, and the lost. What a wonderful way to honor someone special and continue his/her legacy.

When you make your gift, please include the name of someone for whom you would like a prayer said this All Souls’ Day. Or, perhaps, you would prefer a prayer for the most forgotten souls as we implore God to grant them a place of happiness, light, and peace.
Thank you for your commitment to our mission to serve those in need, particularly during this challenging time.
