Bringing Joy to Seniors This Christmas
Where would we be without those who went before us? Many older individuals are left alone with their memories, especially during the holidays when Christmas means good will towards others.
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet sponsors this holiday program in Kankakee County designed to assist senior citizens in our community who are in need. This program encourages the community to reach out to seniors by providing them with presents and kind sentiments during the holidays.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, many older individuals are left alone with their memories. This is especially tragic at the holidays when the very meaning of Christmas includes good will towards others.
