In life we each have our own unique journey and a story to tell. We learn from our joyous moments and our struggles. Unfortunately, many individuals within the Diocese of Joliet are on a very difficult journey.
August is Catholic Charities Month, a time to reflect on the goodness of our work and to thank our generous supporters for allowing us to continue serving the poor and vulnerable in our community. However, we also know that it’s a time when some families are planning where their next meal will come from, how they will pay their rent, how they will afford school supplies or how they will care for an aging parent.
We need your support to help these families who are longing to write a more joyous chapter in the story of their lives. Times are tough and we are struggling financially, which makes it difficult to meet the needs of our clients. As such, we hope that you’ll consider increasing your gift this year.
Help us assist the poor and vulnerable as they begin to write a new chapter in their lives – one that includes the safety and peace of mind that everyone deserves. Send a gift today. We’ll remember you and your kindness each month with a prayer that will be said in honor of you and other donors who help make our good works possible.
