Honor your loved ones for All Souls’ Day
Blessed are the souls who are remembered by the living.
On All Souls’ Day, we are called to remember our loved ones who have died and to pray for their joyful reunion with the Lord. Throughout our lives, we must sadly say goodbye to those who go before us to their eternal rest. We mourn our losses, but often seek ways to maintain their legacies by honoring them in special ways.
As a friend of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, we know that you are kind and compassionate. These admirable traits were likely influenced by the good works of family and friends. Perhaps a loved one demonstrated how to live with empathy and generosity.
Consider those you have lost over the years. Imagine how proud they would be to know that they helped inspire you to care for the needy.
In honor of All Souls’ Day, Catholic Charities is once again providing an opportunity to remember our dearly departed loved ones by impacting the lives of the poor and vulnerable. Please consider making a donation to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet in the name of someone special and continue their legacy of goodwill.
Please join us for a special mass at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Blanchette Catholic Center (16555 Weber Rd, Crest Hill, IL 60403) to celebrate those you have lost. Thank you and God bless you.
