The Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet Mobile Food Pantry is a traveling food pantry that delivers nutritious food (meat, produce and nonperishable items) to people in need. Participants are asked to bring bags, laundry baskets, boxes, carts or wagons to transport your food and grocery products through the line and back to your vehicle. A representative from Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet will be available at the Mobile Food Pantry to explain the services provided by the agency, including:
* vouchers for food, travel, clothing and furniture
* financial assistance for prescription medication, rent and mortgage
* information and referral to other community resources You do not have to be Catholic to participate. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet helps people of all faiths and beliefs.
11-1-18 – Plano Middle School, 804 S. Hale, Plano – 5:00pm – 7:00pm
11-8-18 – St. Mary’s Parish, 407 W. Pells St., Paxton – 11:00am – 1:00pm
11-12-18 – St. Lawrence Church, 135 E. Rice Rd., South Wilmington – 4:00pm–6:00pm
11-13-18 – St. Joseph, 330 E. Fullerton Ave., Addison – 10:00am-12:00pm
11-15-18–Sacred Heart Mission, 16485 E. Birch St., Hopkins Park – 11:00am – 1:00pm
11-20-18 – Holy Family Parish, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood – 4:00pm-6:00pm
