The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program helps eligible older adults access fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey from approved farmers’ markets and roadside stands.

Eligible seniors receive a coupon booklet that can be used to purchase fresh produce directly from participating farmers throughout the market season.

Eligibility

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be 60 years of age or older
• Meet income eligibility guidelines established by the program

Kankakee Distribution Event

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet will assist eligible seniors with applications and distribute coupon booklets at:

Kankakee, IL 60901

9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Applications will be accepted on-site. Coupon booklets will be distributed while supplies last.
