Catholic Charities Welcomes New Executive Director

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Hickey as Executive Director, effective March 23, 2026.

Kevin brings decades of leadership experience in social services, most recently serving on the executive team of the Cook County Juvenile Probation Department. Throughout his career, he has overseen large teams, managed complex programs and budgets, worked with community partners, and service providers to support individuals and families.

His background in social work, commitment to community-based services, and passion for mentoring and leadership development will be a tremendous asset to Catholic Charities. Kevin will guide the organization in continuing to provide programs and services to people in need within the Diocese of Joliet.
