General Donation
CREDIT CARD DONATION
You can make a one-time donation using a credit card or make a recurring gift that allows Catholic Charities to charge a monthly donation to the credit card of your choice.
APPRECIATED ASSETS
Making an outright gift of stocks and securities offers the simplicity and satisfaction of a gift of cash while providing additional tax benefits. For many donors, the transaction is often as simple as calling one’s broker and authorizing a transfer to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet.
Shares can be donated by:
- Contacting your brokerage firm where your investments are held and advise the broker you want to donate investments to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet.
- Provide the broker with the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet following information:
- DTC # 0141
- Name of Clearing Firm: First Clearing (Wintrust Wealth Management)
- Name of Account: Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet
- A/C # for Catholic Charities: 3205-0744
Please contact Tony Brandolino, the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving, at 815-724-1102 to notify Catholic Charities of your intentions since electronic transfers are not executed with the donor’s name attached to the share description.
CHECK BY MAIL
Donations can also be sent through the US Mail. Mail check payable to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet to:

ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER
You can support the works of Catholic Charities through a regular monthly deduction from your checking or savings account. A record of your gift will appear on your monthly bank statement. While you still need to mail a voided check to Catholic Charities to complete this transaction, it’s really as easy as 1-2-3.
GIFTS IN KIND
We accept in-kind donations in support of our client programs. For example, new infant clothing, baskets to be used in fundraiser auctions, winter clothing for adults and children. Please know, tax deduction claims for donations of goods and services are the responsibility of the donor. For further information, please contact your local office.
